Egrets I have discovered, after spending a good deal of time with them in Florida, are the most vain specie of bird in the world outside of a Peacock.
Herons are virtually identical to Egrits in demeanour. They are as favoured as the Egrtit for posing.

Costa Rica was a wonderful experience being a shutterbug. Peter and I spent two weeks in the cloud forests and rain forests.
For the most part the shots in Costa Rica all originated in the Rain Forest.

Chiaroscuro is the look from the Renaissance painters such as Rembrandt. The style and lighting create almost a 3D effect.
